Kris Nations grew up in the southwestern city of El Paso, TX. Throughout her youth, she spent many summers traveling through the southwestern region of the United States to various art shows and galleries with her artist mother. Her appreciation for fashion, natural materials and craftsmanship formed early in her life with this unique exposure to various people, cultures, and art. This appreciation translates into well-crafted designs that take notice.

In 2004, Kris pulled together a collection of her jewels for local San Francisco boutiques. Kris started her line of jewelry with the intent of creating unique accessories that she believes are the key ingredients to creating individual style. Her inspiration often comes from her friends and family, creating pieces steeped in individual personalities and style.

In 2006 Kris partnered with her sister Kim Nations. Together, they continue to design new collections and run daily operations of the business. They enjoy running a family business, which enables them to spend quality time with their growing families.

Kris Nations jewelry is found in over 200 specialty boutiques in the US, Japan and Europe.
